Pros: Brenda Blethyn is the best
Cons: uncomfortable with the birthmother portrayal at times

I think this is a must see movie for many of us. It is a topic you rarely see done and done so well. Brenda Blethyn is my favorite actress. The portrayals of the adoptee and the birthmother could be seen as stereotypical, I think, but it does add to the story and I found the interracial aspect very interesting.

saw this movie over the weekend....i agree with Inion...its a must see for adoptees and birthmoms!

so good, with lots of raw emotion, not sugar coated.

lesson learned...Honesty is the best policy! and it was great to see the family pull through the reunion!
